Bl**dy Mondays

Got into work this morning to discover that someone had upended a chemical toilet in the castle grounds so the place smelled like a sewer and there was a load of - sewery items on the grass.

Then I discovered a wasp's nest.

I hope your Monday is better than mine.

Yuck. I don't think I can imagine a much worse way to start one's work day.

You have my sympathies.

Even though I was careful, I've spent the whole day feeling as though I smell!

*hugs and waves cabana boy at Captain Jack*

I'm glad your Monday was okay. Mine are usually, and I must admit that mine improved around lunchtime when I had a blueberry muffin. :D

*hugs back*

People are so weird in this heat.

But it's not hot. It's one of our cool overcast days with a little moisture in the air. You know the type of thing. Not cold enough for a coat and if you get rained on you dry out fairly quickly.

You're the one with all the heat craziness going on.

Oh.

Then the craziness with the sh*t is entirely random?

I hope we get your weather soon, too...

Oh my god. I think *everyone's* monday was better than yours. I won't moan about mine being dull after reading this!

There are some varieties of dull that are to be cherished and some to be avoided at all costs. Dull at the museum means doing the paperwork and dealing with the occasional visitor while one of the castle crows tries to peck his way in through the window. And once the paperwork is done I can get out a notebook and write stories! That's a good sort of dull.
