essayelI have this awful urge to write fanfic!
Yeah, I swore off it. I have far too many other things to do. But it's all because of someone's latest LJ post about Supernatural using an icon featuring the Winchester Tavern, London, England.
Obviously now I have to write crossover fanfic for these two sets of brothers: Sam and Dean and Del and Rodney Trotter.
Can't you just imagine that little Reliant Robin chugging along back roads in Wisconsin blaring out Britney?
Rodders: 'Ere, Del, we run aht of salt.
Del: Rodney, you plonker, I know where we can get it 'olesale!
It's a story that obviously demands to be written!
ETA: Actually it might not be obvious unless you know that The Winchester Tavern was Del-boy's favourite pub, where this occurred. Oh, and here's their car.
In other news, with our usual perfect timing we went to a party last night and our son came home on a surprise visit!! He spent the night at his grans, poor dab. Now I need to go buy lots of vegetarian equivalents of fatted calves!
