Thanks for all the advice re. driving to Cardiff. I think the best I've had is 'don't do it. Go by train and get a taxi' but that would just be too chicken even for me.
Anyway - just for fun I have made myself a new icon to which I respectfully draw your attention. This is my friend Marmalade doing a St Simeon Stylites impersonation, though he only stayed up there until someone opened the fridge. I think he makes a pretty superb Crookshanks and - as tends to happen with fandoms - far more attractive than the one in the book. I tell you, Pettigrew wouldn't last 30 seconds if Marmalade caught wind of him.

I did it!! And in the worst weather so far this year!!! Eeewww it was horrible.
We got there in plenty of time, had a coffee then Sue went in for her tests and I was left to my own devices. casfic made a comment this morning about the utter awfulness of trailer!Remus's face fungus and my plot bunny hopped so between Sue going in and Sue coming out I wrote the following ficlet. I'm rubbish at titles so, in return for full credit wherever I post it, any ideas?
