Writer's Block: Found Objects

[Error: unknown template qotd]My best ever rescue from a skip is the gas lift office chair I had used at work for 7 years. It was an old friend, a bit shabby, but still usuable [like me] but because they were refurbishing the desk they wanted a spiffy new one. When the new chair arrived, the old one went round to the bins until the end of the day when I backed my car up to it and rescued my old friend from landfill.
It's green, it's spinny and the castors run smoothly - I don't mind a few worn bits in the fabric cover!
