So disappointed
May. 20th, 2010 05:18 pmI just tried to put the home page of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs through the Dialectizer and got this bleak little message:
We regret to inform you that the owner of the web page you are trying to dialectize has requested that it not be translated by The Dialectizer.
I bet they'd have allowed it when they were the Min of Ag and Fish! New Labour had no sense of humour.
ETA On the other hand, putting the Welsh version of the Aber Museum website inworks very well and gets little gems like:
Arddangosfeydd Diweddareef:
Does dim Arddangosfeydd i'w arddangos ar hyn o bryd, cuss it all t' tarnation.">
This displacement activity is brought to you courtesey of my daughter who seems to feel that the examination board will give her A levels just because she's HER and consequently is doing my head in.
