The news{courtesy of cleolinda that a] the Hobbit is finally going to be filmed and b] that Martin Freeman is going to be Bilbo and Richard Armitage will be Thorin is brilliant and makes me very happy indeed, but comments like this make me stare?

Richard Armitage is amazing! I am so glad the US will be exposed to his talent!

His big break? Oh come on. A part in the Hobbit will be very good for his career and will boost his profile but he's not exactly starving in a garret while he waits for his next job to come up.
