It's Monday and I didn't go to work!!! Brilliant!
You see, it's half term and the kids are off and so's Paul and I have masses of holiday that I have to take before March 31st so I'm having the whole week off. Not perhaps the best time of year but what the heck.
So - Monday night and Jenny has gone to stay with Mum and Mike has a gang of friends round. They will sleep on the floor in the sitting room, eat rubbish, drink alcopops and watch Jackass videos while Paul and I do our own thing out of the way.
Paul will make some more bits for the 1:40 scale British Naval brig he is building (thank god he has finished coppering it's bottom - the hammering drove me doolally) while I write - then draw while I turn off my machine to let it cool down - it's not well again.

Hmmm, I'm not quite sure what to say here. Primarily it's a mild story and if I had to rate it it would be PG13. However there's quite a lot of UST between the two main youthful characters and the man in Hell, the one they go to retrieve, has a male lover waiting for him when they get back. The lover can't go on the trip for very good reasons and there's a scene where I need to get his hope and anguish across. The chap in Hell is a big, buff beautiful man with long black hair and spends most of the back half of the comic in Roman armour tenderly carrying one of the boys. Then when he gets back there's a totally understated reunion with his dear one. That will be a beggar to draw because it's all eye contact and avoidance - because of the boys. Eventually they fall asleep sitting up on a bench in a hospital and gradually lean together. I really want to get that right because it's about the only physical contact between them.
So overt slash no but there's certainly some there in the background story.

Ooh, it's brilliant! I loved Sam's fic, and you've illustrated it beautifully. Can't wait to see more! ^__^

Okay then, find a site on the web call guygrabber. There are hundreds of pictures of men, and men together...it is not porno although you can pay a price to see the racier stuff. I never have... Anyway, I would check those out for "models." There are lots of loverly pics!

I can't wait to read more!
