Anyone for tossing?
Feb. 24th, 2004 07:24 pmYes, folks it's Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) here in the UK and all over the country people who wouldn't normally make a pancake are burning their batter and tossing their pancakes with abandon! I prefer mine with lemon but others in the family take their with copious amounts of golden syrup - yuk! Either way they are very cheering and that's what I need because my hard drive is buggered and I have lost so much stuff! Some of the fiction I can recover from various archives on the net and LJ but the WIPs have been clobbered and a lot of the computer generated art is gone. These things are sent to try us, I suppose, but it doesn't stop one grumbling about it.
If you need me - email me n- better still email me anyway! I have come to an arrangement with the man of the house where I can use his machine unless he needs it for work so I can carry on betaing and email conversations are very nice in the absence of YM or AIM.
The comic continues - Chapter 5 is currently being drawn and I'll upload Chapter 4 at the weekend.
