3 things today - one is we have a new computer so I will be able to be a useful member of society again as soon as I manage to load the programmes i need on it and, god willing, recover the stuff off my old hard drive. The other - and I find this very hard to believe - is that the film currently being made in the countryside around my home stars Johnny Depp and he is staying in the town for the next five days. I am assured this by someone who is working on the film but I'll believe it when I see the film and spot familiar landmarks.
