essayelStill here. Had a totally boring fortnight doing the end of year figures at work all on my own *wibbles* because the boss has been on holiday. It's no picnic doing maths at the best of times but trying to do it while serving in the shop, answering the phone, entertaining the customers and generally being 'available' is a total bugger.
Also had some worry because I've lost touch with a friend. She moved recently to try to find work, promising to keep in touch and, coincidentally, also changed her mobile phone number. Since I know she's a bit strapped for cash I know she'll be expecting me to get in touch rather than the other way around but I've got no means of doing so. I just hope she's okay. Of course this sort of thing happens all the time on the internet. People one view as being closer than sisters suddenly either disappear completely or are always 'too busy' to talk and one worries oneself sick in the first place and accepts that they have found something more interesting to do [complete with new friends, screen names and hangouts] in the second. But in this case I'm really concerned about her and there's bugger-all I can do about it!! Ah well, fingers crossed and trust to luck.
