Apr. 10th, 2003 06:43 pmPut up the castle exhibition today. We've borrowed stuff from all over Gwent - cannon balls, cooking pots and a rather splendid 15th c. Chimney top in the shape of a devil.
Unfortunately the painting haven't come out well. The colours have yellowed and also the light bits have got lighter, disappearing completely in some cases, and the dark bits have got darker. So much for modern technology! Now we have a number of things to look forward to - like a Norman re-enactment society visiting in May for 6 days. With my weakness for men in armour I'll be a very happy girl!
Spending an inordinate amount of time defragging my hard drive - it does it very carefully, a bit or a byte or whatever at a time. After an hour its done about 40%! But then maybe it won't have fits when I try to do graphics.
