Can I just say here that being menopausal is a bitch! And so is generally getting old. I tried to run from the gatehouse to the motte today and had to stop for a blow half way across the bailey AND I can't draw my 50lb bow anymore. You know what it is, of course. Too much time on one of these pernicious things. Too late for a New Year's resolution but I think I ought to make some kind of public declaration that I'm going to do something (anything) about it. Giving up those wonderful chocolate/orange danish bun things they sell in the bakers on the corner might be a start!
It's my 25th wedding anniv on August 5th so I have four months to see if I can find my waist! Wish me luck!
