[livejournal.com profile] athousanderrors tagged me to do this and, apparently I have to tag 8 more people to do it. Problem is, as far as I can see, everyone on my flist has either already done it recently or wouldn't be caught dead doing a meme.

Anyhow

20 questions - if you don't like one replace it with one of your own.

1. You have £100 in your pocket - what do you do with it?
Split it with my Jen and go shopping.

2. What is your most guilty pleasure?
Green and Blacks chocolate

3. Have you ever seen someone die?
Not actually been there , no.

4. Are you confused as to what lies ahead of you?
Absolutely lost.

5. What was the last movie you saw, for pleasure, and would you recommend it?
I watched a version of Snow White and I would recommend it if you like watching Miranda Richardson chewing the scenery.

6. Superman or Batman?
Batman, of course.

7. If the person you like does not accept you, would you continue to wait for them to change their feelings?
Not much point - and I'm speaking from experience.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
The decent thing and not let my liking be known

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy recently?
I have a list.

10. If you could have chosen at birth whether to be a boy or a girl, which would you be?
Boy.

11. Which of the 7 Deadly Sins do you think you relate to the most and why?
Despair. It's very easy for me to just give up thinking it's/I'm not worth the effort.

12.Thunderstorms - cool or scary?
Cool, until the bangs get so loud they hurt.

13.Clinton or Obama?
Who cares? Cameron or Browne would be a more emotive question for me.

14. Would you rather be a really good person or a really interesting person?
Interesting. Your 'good' might be my 'awful'.

15. Do you believe in some form of life after death?
It seems a bit of a waste of conciousness if it all dissipates into nothing.

16. Which fictional character could you most see yourself marrying?
Remus Lupin I think. He seems harmless.

17. Best sex: rough and fast or slow and tender?
No sex sounds a good option to me if that's all the choice I'd be offered.

18. Do you have a motto? If yes which one?
Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional

19. What type of friends do you have?
My 'best friends' are online. My RL friends tend to be people I have come to know with whom I have very little in common but we get on well enough.

20. What place most speaks to you?
The Golden Valley - a place between England and Wales. It's on the way to nowhere and the soil is deep red and rich. It is completely beautiful to me.

8 tags - um - Erised? Metallumai? Casfic? Fuchsoid? A is for Amy? Writer of fictions? AuthorM? and finally Celticangel?

re:16... Remus Lupin? Harmless? He's a werewolf, dear. They eat people.

OK, I'll try this. Usually when I get into one of these, I end up wishing I'd said something different as soon as it's sent, but here goes.
1. I buy books and music.
2. I'm with you, Green & Black's!
3. Yes. Not something I'd want to do every day.
4. Not where the big things are concerned. The details can be worked out later. :D
5. I bought "Billy Elliot" after Christmas at a sale, and watched it again with Dee. Loved it, all over again. Yes.
6.Batman.
7. nope. Not much point, as you say. Eventually you wonder what YOU saw in HIM.
8. As you say-- if you like him, you want to be decent to him.
9. Just little stuff. The big stuff is OK. Main source of unhappiness in winter is the endless GERMS I pick up from the kids.
10. I don't think I'd care-- there are advantages both ways.
11. Sloth! I am a champion time-waster.
12. COOL, definitely.
13. either-- this year I'd vote for a hamster if it was a Democrat.
14. interesting.
15. in a way-- I think I've seen ghosts, a time or two.
16. Sam Vimes. There's something attractive about a guy who is smart, honorable, capable, humorous, and tolerant, up to a point. :D
17. dumb question. Always seek the middle way, my child....
18. Lots of them. I usually like "I reckon there's more things told than are true and more things true than are told" which is a line from "The Ballad of the minepit Shaw."
19. I have well-read, clever, thoughtful, talented friends, all ages, some online, some scattered over the world, some here in town. Distance is such a weird concept sometimes.
20. Several places: almost any seacoast; the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina; (now you're going to laugh at me, but) Bede's tomb in Durham Cathedral; the Scottish Borders; that mountaintop we stopped at on our way back from Hay, that time. The Ozark Mountains, which are so old that they're not really mountains any more, but officially the Ozark Plateau. But they LOOK like mountains.
