Writer's Block: No Foolin'

Radio 4 just tried to tell us that scientists at - some university or other - have come up with a means of harnessing electrical power given off by the river fish of the UK. An average sized salmon, swimming at 40 feet per second over 100 yards can yield enough electricity to boil 20 cups of tea. The lowly rudd can only manage three cups of tea, but that's still pretty useful.
The best thing about this joke was that it went out so early most of the listeners would still be blinking and shambling around scratching and listening in a very uncritical fashion. I actually went back to sleep for a bit and dreamed of having an electric eel as a watch strap.
I intended to answer the Writer's Block thing about March - which started with gastric flu and ended with an all nighter trying to help Jen get her art textiles homework done immediately followed by stocktaking. March sucks. I'm glad it's April and hope it will be a more relaxing month.
