Apart from heart in the mouth moments while driving, the daftest was when my hair got loose when I was abseiling and, because it was VERY long, it got round the rope and went into the descendeur. If it had been just a bit of it I'd have broken it off or pulled it out, but about half my scalp was involved and I was slipping. If I had fallen I'd have ripped my scalp off. Luckily I had a top rope and was able to climb back up a bit and free it. I would have survived but - ewwwww.

Yeah and scant sympathy. It was my own fault for using a ribbon instead of tying it down properly.

Which reminds me - I will be in south wales starting tomorrow and leaving tuesday night. (at least that is current plan) I am to stay with friends who will be working during the day and I hope to visit places like Blaina and Ebbw Vale.

Any chance you would be available for coffee?

I should be able to meet you on Monday. I've spontaneously decided to take a day off due to having a heating engineer visiting Tuesday night and needing to go into EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE *facepalm*!

Taking an hour off would be a good idea to save my sanity. Where would be the best place to catch up with you? Abergavenny is about 20 minutes from EV, and about the same from Blaina.
