Kittens are lovely, of course, as are most puppies and some lambs, but my choice would have to be a Hereford calf. So white and such a rich brown and so confused.

Oh wow! () Yes they really are very pretty. I think the nearest we have to racoons are pine martens (http://www.easter-badbea.co.uk/index_files/pine_marten.jpg). Although Disney saw NO problem with putting racoons in Sussex in the remake of 101 Dalmatians. Who knows, we may have some by now.

Nope, no racoons in the UK other than a few in zoos. We got grey squirrels and wallabies instead.

Baby raccoons are adorable; their hands are like little monkey hands and they are amazingly clever and as curious as cats-- which means rescuing baby raccoons from ridiculous places (our wood stove, for example, when they fall down the chimney)is a fairly common occurrence.

Toggenburg goats...
They are just so bouncy and darling ...
(until you come home from town to find they've figured out how to open the screen door and there is goat poo on the livingroom couch, the TV is tipped over, and all the houseplants have been munched to within and inch of their pots...)

But they are as cute and soft as your hereford calf, I promise.

Goats have that poised and slightly cynical look that always makes me think that they know something I don't and are snickering about it. Like they've noticed my skirt's tucked in my knickers or something.

Aww, that's a very cute calf indeed! But I think I shall have to vote for baby foxes (http://www.kummetz-konstanz.de/Images/fuechslein.jpg) nonetheless (the combination of cute and alert is irresistible to me). But cute puppies also come close.
