It's been a wierd couple of days. Monday was horrible. I lost my phone, Jen suddenly decided to stay in Herford over night and either wouldn't or couldn't tell us where she'd be staying, then I got woken at 1 am by the alarm company because the alarms at work had been triggered. Staggering around the castle in the dark is NO FUN and when I got home himself was snoring enthusiastically so it was a long while til I got back to sleep, and the alarm goes off at 6.15. With Jen not there I could have a lie in, and had just snugged down to go back to sleep after Paul had left when the phone rang. By 7.15 I was next door with a mop, helping soak up a flood from a burst boiler. She made me coffee though.

So - an odd day.

My phone turned up at 3 am this morning. It let out its panicky little bleep to tell me a] that its battery was low and b] it had somehow got into one of my converse. I think I'll blame the pixies.

It should have been a horrible day but somehow wasn't. I was so tired that each new disaster got giggled at.

A museum visitor was the one who enlightened me about Our Enery.
