Jen's wildly late tonight due to the train she was going to catch being delayed due to someone being hit by it! This was the six o' clock train. It's taken them til 9.30 to get the track cleared.

Next time I bitch about my job someone give me a sharp poke. It could be so much worse - like having to - gah, it doesn't bear thinking about.

I always think of the poor driver when that happens. Can you imagine how he's feeling? That happened to a neighbour's son, he was off work for several months before he could face driving a train again.

Yes, awful. I can understand someone feeling desperate enough to top themselves but it's a terrible thing to involve bystanders like that.

We so often don't realize, things could always be worse. That's when we have to stop and be grateful.
As for bitching about your job, I can understand that, of course, but be grateful that you've got a job. They're not that easy to come by these days.
