I know you love me and that it must be terribly exciting to see me, bearing in mind it's at least 7 hours since your last cuddle. But by now I'd have thought you would have learned that it's not a good idea to try and jump up at me when you're standing under the table.

Dear Cats

I know it's your nature to hunt and kill, but please have the decency to do it outside so i don't have to deal with the aftermath. Treading on bits of shrew with a barefoot first thing is nobody's idea of fun. ESPECIALLY, don't catch birds, bring them into the house and release them when there's nobody there but my daughter unless you want to have company and competition, because, girls, believe me, she's having kittens.



Animals - you gotta love 'em.
