There's nothing quite like that smell, is there. I spent a few years in my life with all things horses so I know the smell. This actually brings back wonderfully relaxing and happy memories. It also reminds me of how much work horse care was, but for sure, those were the good old days.

It's funny, because today I was talking to someone about the lovely smell our lemon-scented gum tree's giving out. It's in blossom at the moment, and when the sun shines on it, the smell of honey is amazing.
It's a scent that takes me right back to my childhood. We used to help with the haymaking when I was a kid and have picnics up in the hayfields. Now, of course, it's all done by one man with a massive machine that makes those horrible huge rolls wrapped in plastic, but in those days it was bales that could be used to make little forts and houses. Such fun!
