In other news it's birthday party time for Jen so we're busting our butts cleaning and cooking while she 'does her room'. Her Facebook presence hasn't gone to idle all day.

Passing Lurker reading Copperbadge's Friendslist:

Pingbacks basically: if someone links to your entry, a 'bot sends you a message telling you that that's happened.

What's got LJ in an uproar is this new crossposting to facebook and twitter stuff where someone can repost their comment to your friendslocked entry.

I can see the point of knowing if someone is linking to you, but the whole friendslocked business is another instance of Facebook not being able to find its arse with both hands.
