essayelNot sure if anyone on LJ would be prepared to sign this, but here is the Save Gwent Theatre petition. Gwent Theatre provides a drama in schools service for this corner of Wales and also has a thriving youth threatre group that has given some well known actor a start in the profession. The 2 most famous are 'Ianto Jones' of Torchwood and Martin Sheen who was so memorable in 'Frost and Nixon'.
It's a fantastic theatre group and we are all devastated that it's closing and even more devastated that we've been told we aren't allowed to appeal. So, in sensible Welsh fashion, we're going to make as much fuss as possible.
What would Torchwood have been without Ianto?
