No I don't. In fact the last time I dressed up for hallowe'en I was ten. It's not something we do here unless one has small children who are demanding to trick or treat just like the supermarkets have decided they are supposed to.
Nanonwrimo. I think I might try that this year, unofficially, of course. I just need to decide which of the plans I've got to expand. Or maybe half a Nano again? Sod it, if you don't try you can't fail.

Date: 2010-10-24 05:24 pm (UTC)We used to do Hallowe'en parties when I was young - very apple-fixated and with lots of games involving apples and string and water, but we didn't go outside much. Far too unpleasantly damp and chilly.

However, my pal Dee and I have been playing a game: you write descriptions of someone you both know-- friends and family fair game-- as if they were characters in a novel. Sometimes the exercise itself is the goal, sometimes it's guessing who is being described. Kinda fun.

Date: 2010-10-25 05:52 am (UTC)What a shame. If you went as one of the Scythian archers from your icon and gave people the impression that you know how to use that bow, trick-or-treating might be very successful. ;)
Over here, Halloween has only become popular in the course of the last decade, and I dread it (the last years brought an overabundance of foul eggs hitting our house and a completely destroyed fence, even though we do keep some sweets at hand).
