Himself gave me an ereader for my birthday [and Christmas - I got it now due to handy dandy special offer] and someone else has given me a gift code for Amazon. So come on flist - give me some recommendations. I've already got some of the stories penned by Flisters, plus Josh Lanyon and Jordan Castillo Price. Who else is a must have?

Also I've been idly looking for resources to spark my imagination for next week and just found I'd posted a link to this on my DW back in September. I want to print off a nice BIG version now.

Max Brook's World War Z is a great political/sociological read with the added fun of zombies (if you're into that).

And I was quite terrified by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan's The Strain (it's a first of three in a vampire trilogy). Twilight it most certainly ain't. :D

Have I got Halloween and horror on the brain? Not me, never.

I don't really do horror but I'll have a look at them and see how scary they seem.

Love the icon.

Gutenberg is a super place and my ereader will display PDFs so that's cool. That's for the recommendations.
