A Batman by any other name ...
Dec. 31st, 2010 06:03 pm...would be as butch.
I've just found a comic called 'Knight and Squire' which is plainly a rip-off of Batman and Robin, is set in the UK and has lots of deeply silly British humour in it.
Here's a sample.
I thought the final panel very suitable for some of the sports lovers on my flist.
I think I'll have to get this when it's published as a book.

Date: 2010-12-31 06:52 pm (UTC)Oh, and c) he gave me my first and only literary award.
I'm waiting for the collection, but I am *aching* to read it. The cricket 11 who only commit crimes in Commonwealth countries (they never took off in America)? Twunter (Paul sniggered like a small child when showing those panels to people)?
Paul has stated that his aim with Knight and Squire is to annoy the DC encyclopedia people like mad - he's created about 100 new characters already!
