I've had a very productive day so far. The laundry still needs to be done and the floors need sweeping BUT I've written 800 words for my pirate story, enough to finish a chapter and lead into one with lots of fireworks AND I've written a 1200 word short. Any one up for a beta? It's - um - fluff would be the best description I think.

The snow has GONE!! So walking the dog at lunchtime was a pleasure rather than a health hazard. He's big and he pulls and I slide about and fear falling and breaking a hip.

This evening I hope to write more or draw.

Creativity is so satisfying. :D

The big problem with short stories - over night it has grown. Ah well. Maybe I can induct them as bit part players in the murder mystery collab.

It was fun. I shut myself up upstairs with an old PC with no internet. That always helps.

LOVE your cheerful griffin

Our obedience class trainer recommended one of these:

http://www.softouchconcepts.com/

And it's pretty effective. Watson is a little over 6 months and about 70 pounds already, and there's no way I could control him without yanking my arms out. He's learning not to pull, so hopwefully we won't always need it.

Thanks, I'll try and get something like that. He's quite a good boy and only pulls occasionally, when he smells something particularly exciting, but when my feet are on ice - oooh boy!

Watson sounds like a fun character.
