Nelsoniana?
Apr. 14th, 2011 09:15 pmIs that a word? It is now. Tomorrow I'm going to Monmouth to romp around the Nelson Museum to see if I can find some bits and pieces to display in our pirate exhibition next month. Nelson and Emma spent some time in Monmouth at the height of the scandal and the family they stayed with became avid collectors of relevant material. Nelson's letters - masses of them. His weapons. Several 'Nelson's glass eye's [a popular money raising scam by ex-sailors after he died].
I'll take my camera and see if I can get any interesting age of saily piccies.

I love your icon. I think all publishers ought to have a "Sellars and Yeatman Historical" :D
