Feeling vaguely virtuous today because yesterday I manned up and cleaned the oven! In addition to that I got a massive plot bunny - as if I need another one - but it will have to go in the queue because it'll take a lot of research.

For the moment I have nowhere quiet to work. I need to get this place sorted desperately, OR move into the shed, books, tables, PC and all.

Edited to add - just discovered that a friend was made a druid at the Gorsedd! *applauds* Yes, that still happens. innit great.

Cool! How do you say "Congratulations on becoming a druid" in Welsh?!

Llongyfarchiadau - but for pity's sake don't ask me how to pronounce it.

Yay for plot bunnies! Just be sure you feed them once in a while or they become unruly! *g*

A quiet place is a must for me, especially when I'm writing. I am very easily distracted, so the less people around and the more quiet the better.

Congrats to your friend!

I have to train myself to write. If I'm in my 'writing place' [the spare bedroom] I can say "I'm writing" and shut the door. Anywhere else I'm available so even if I'm on my own I'm expecting to be disturbed and never really buckle down to it. Unfortunately my daughter moved into the spare bedroom a couple of months ago because it's bigger and has a sink and I can neither winkle her out of it nor take over her room, which would be fine for me, because she says she needs it. I'm contemplating moving into the potting shed.

A massive plot bunny? That sounds very good. And congratulations to your friend!
