essayelI'm listening to Radio 4 with fingers as above [uncrossed temporarily to type, of course] because there are over 60 thousand Welshmen packed into the Millenium stadium and the Today programme has promised to broadcast them at the end of the programme if they sing. Well, 60 thousand Welshmen - they are bound to sing but it would be grand to hear them. Just once I was in Cardiff walking past the old Arms Park when they were singing the lads on. The ground shook. I felt it in my chest. It was awesome!
