May. 14th, 2011 05:44 pmJust a little reminder that it doesn't actually matter whether what you do is particularly good as long as you enjoyed doing it and are left with a feeling of satisfaction. There are no rules about creating things. Ideally they shouldn't hurt anyone else, or incite anyone else to be hurt, but otherwise let the imagination run free. Anything you make is valid as long as it pleases YOU.
And if the art you draw, the story you write, the hat you trim, the scarf you knit, the cake you bake, causes only one other person to smile, then it's doubly worth while.
Make, draw, bake, trim, knit, write and never doubt that it was time well spent.
