marinarusalka's lj that George W has decreed that this week - 26th Oct to 1st Nov - is Anti-Pornography week. this sucks as it means that I can't tell anyone the 'squirrel joke' until Monday and that's one I like to tell frequently. I know it's odd but it raises my spirits to see the reactions - women cackle like witches and men cringe.
Just come back from seeing Sue in hospital - she has absolutely no recollection of the time I spent reading to her while she was reovering from her big hypo the other week. I'll have to loan her Tales of the City so she can read it herself. Mind you the effort wasn't wasted because apparently the nurses were hanging round outside the room listening - they particularly liked the gentlemen dancing in their knickers bit.
