Date: 2003-11-29 07:33 pm (UTC)If my friend Ninna is in the barn at the same time as me tomorrow, I might get to ride him again (= she'll lead him, with me on his back...) last time I was on him, he was more interested in trying to eat her jacket than in noticing me up there, and I believe that he will be easy if just I am consequent and never let him get away with anything. He's very intelligent and has the sensitive arab temper, but he's also sensible and very willing to listen.
He's name is Bojkij, which is russian and means something like "fresh and lively" - his sire is out of russian lines, his dam, (she died in the spring) was egyptian. I bought Bojkij from the breeders and they still have his twelve-years-old sire - a gorgeous stallion. Both Bojkij's parents were racing horses, but i plan to use him for classical dressage, riding out and possibly also for jumping, just for the fun of it, once he's grown and trained. Am going to do everything myself.
I spend my time home and in school dreaming about him - as well as dreaming even more about a boy from my class (I'm so smitten with him, that I will probably never get over it!)... stupid me :P
I still write on my novel, but progress is slow, because I keep on changing my mind about what exactly to write - how to tell the story, and what to tell. And I don't have much time what with high school and horse and dog and piano and friends and a little work... and... and.(Oh, and sitting, staring stupidly into space, dreaming about a certain someone)
Well,
huggles :)
