Merry Christmas everyone!!

I'm unlikely to get back online today but just wanted to share this with you -

A little poll - guess what I had for Christmas!

A) clothes
B) books
C) jewellery
D) Helm's Deep to scale complete with Uruk Hai and a stair for Legolas to slide down.

No prizes for guessing correctly - my family conspire to feed my mid-life crisis!!

Have a lovely day!

Well, it's obvious, innit?

Hope yours had the scale models of the statue of Helm at the top.

Happy Christmas

Well, actually this is a homemade version. Polystyrene, foam board, MDF and that squirty expanded foam one uses in plumbing. The whole family had a hand in it, including one of the cats who has left paw prints. However, I have to finish it and do the fiddly bits myself - if I want a statue of Helm I have been provided with some 'green stuff' to make one.
Blue Peter badege, anyone?

Ooh, lovely! ^_^ My Christmas included Anatomy of a Castle filled with lots of lovely pictures of keeps, but nothing like what you got! ^_^

Happy Christmas!

Hey nice icon!
I've seen Anatomy of a Castle - brill book, very useful.
Now I have to finish the model of Helm's Deep - the family ran out of time - and I'm going to be painting orcs, Rohirrim and those cool elves until March! The model of Eowyn is particularly butch!

"Have fun storming the castle..."
"Think they have a chance?"
"It'd be a miracle."

Oh my, Helm's Deep !
I wouldn't mind a miniature Minas Tirith myself, but the Helm would do fine.
I hope this is not going to distract you from our Yule Ball, but I couldn't really blame you if it did.

Have a great time!
