There was a young farmer called Billy
Who was terribly terribly silly.
For when out spreading muck
He would leap in the truck
And hurl it by hand, will-nilly.

Aaaand -

There was a young lady called Beecroft
Who wrote stirring tales of the seacroft
Not just stuns'ls and rowlocks
but bowsprits with bulwarks
And all very pleasing to mecroft

Actually I'm not too sure how to pronounce 'bulwarks' but in this case it would help enormously if you rhymed it with ro'locks *grins*

Oh brilliant! (And thank you!) I do believe it's the first dirty limerick I've ever inspired - and nautical jargon filth as well!

(I suspect it's 'bullocks', but the context is key ;) ) LOL! I feel like I should adopt it for my email signature!

*loves your icon*

You can't beat nautical jargon I think it's the first time I've used it in a limerick, though. Feel free to do whatever with it.

Thank you! Curiously, this is my icon that gets most love out of all of them - which gives me as a writer great reassurance. You don't have to be pretty if you've got the right words :)

Yay! Thanks again!
