Someone sent me a nudge the other week - clever that, I didn't know LJ could do that. So, a bit late, I thought I'd better register my continued presence on this plane of existence.

Now ... er ... what to write?

Actually I have no idea what to write about. Life is good and sucks in pretty much equal measures so, on the whole is fine.

I'm reading Patrick O'Brien, writing original fiction [some of it's stored on skyehawke] and painting a commission for the castle - though oddly I find I can't paint and write anything worth reading at the same time. metallumai mentioned something similar at one time. It's very uncomfortable because it requires a direct choice between painting for money [yeah - prostituting my art and I don't CARE!! I need the cash] or writing for love.

Decisions!

Er, I've heard rumours that you've written Lymond fanfic? I'm trying to build up a decent collection for... um... sharing. Yes...

Um, well, here's the thing! I wrote it for a friend to show her what fan fic looked like - how it could take an incident and put a different spin on it. Also she had never heard of slash so I did that thing too. Looking back at it - frankly it's bollocks and written very tongue in cheek but feel free to make up your own mind.
