I'm at home today waiting for the delivery of a parcel - naturally the delivery company couldn't specify when - and am amusing myself by alternating bits of housework with writing and chatting to anyone that's available.

Another source of entertainment are the builders next door who are making preparations for extending the house. So far they have told jokes - which I can't repeat here - and played some pretty decent rock music while they banged and crashed and smashed. However, the bit that made me wonder a bit is that their rhythmic sledgehammer blows have just been interrupted by a huge rolling rumbling crash that made the house shake, a big cloud of dust followed by astounded silence then a voice saying, "Whoa - didn't expect that to 'appen, did you 'Arry?"

I'm scared to look.

Nope, still got that to look forward to sweetie. This was a PC for Jen so she doesn't nick ours and change all the settings.

It was the garage - they ARE supposed to be knocking it down just not all in one go.

They were demolishing the garage and it fell down all in one go. I think they were a bit shocked.
