Being Human again

I squeed about this a couple of weeks back and was vastly disappointed that it was a one off rather than a series. And it seems that there are other people equally keen to see more of it. The online petition begging the BBC to work it up to a proper series is growing slowly.

Click or not as you wish, but here's a little sample of the dialogue:

[Mitchell, George and Annie have gone to the pub and are chatting]

Mitchell: So, if you had just arrived at Hogwarts which house would you be sorted into?

George: {bouncing} Oooh - I'd like to say Gryffindor but - um - oh, I'm clever. I could be in Ravenclaw.

Mitchell: {gravely} Yes, George, you're clever enough for Ravenclaw. Annie?

Annie: I rather fancy being' a 'Ufflepuff. Because I see them sitting around all day makin' stuff with glitter and safety scissors.

George: What about you Mitchell.

Mitchell: {lounging} Me, I'd just hang around in the canteen for seven years.

Needless to say there is already a George/Mitchell fanbase on LJ and elsewhere.

althoug hwhy is this enoug hofan 'but of course' kind of refference for george/mitchell? do you mean this was that kidn of banter?

There's lots of byplay, some of which is pointedly slashy. For instance when the two boys go to visit the house they intend to rent the estate agent assumes they are gay, George doesn't get what she's on about so Mitchell apologises for him and tells the woman that George hasn't come out to his parents yet and gives him a cuddle. That sort of thing.

Anyone know where there might be a copy someone from outside the UK could see? I saw the ads for it and would have watched but I don't have the channel and can't access iPlayer.

It sounds so wonderful; I'll have to poke stuff and see if I can see samples when I have a proper Internet again.

I'm sold on it, and I haven't even seen it yet!
