a] Anatolios came about because I wanted a BIG contrast to Atei - possibly to provide something that Atei was lacking.

b] I decided that that should be calm caring, eventually once Anatolios has come to terms with himself. He has a way to go yet.

c] One of his worst traits - he'll develop others - is to want things to stay as they are. His reluctance to accept changes in circumstances will give him grief.

d] I find him quite easy to write but can't do it while I'm RPing. To write that story requires a lot of concentration so I'm not getting on with it very well.

e] I don't think there is one yet. Possibly the moment that he first meets the Scythian riders where he's floundering around amongst them in a total panic?

f] HUUUUUGE WIP - fifty plus years to write my way through. It'll get done a bit at a time.

Oh, Andy.

a] She was put together from a kit basically as a girlfriend for Deacon back in the early days of MM when he was sad and bereft - hence the toughness and the interest in computers. But she was too much like Sarah and Kel's inner-D preferred Sarah anyway. I almost dropped Andy - just kept her around as a spare character to play if Charlie was busy. Since then she has been useful a time or two.

b] her loyalty

c] she's not actually a nice, likeable or pleasant person

d] it's no real problem to write her. I can just channel all my own annoyance and bitchery into her and let her pour it out.

e] possibly the IM with Andras after Deacon is arrested where she flashes her tits at the cops.

f] I have no plans for Andy

A] Palug (http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d41/Essayel/NortonWoodalbum/kilp907.jpg) has been well known to me for years as a local 'god' and mythical being. His face appeared on Roman buildings as well as medieval ones as a kind of guardian spirit but the legends about him suggest that he was a troublemaker too.

Cats are very popular in RPs and it occurred to me that it would be fun to have a cat who could talk back. Initially I considered apping him for Milliways but then Emma was going to live in a flat on her own and it seemed good that she could have a guardian.

Hence Palug.

b] Palug is brave with the kind of gung-ho, testosterone-driven, mindless, brvery of the invicible male animal - having 9+ lives helps too.

c] Palug is a big fat tom-cat with all the character flaws that that implies - greedy, lazy, vicious, manipulative, arrogant, demanding, ungrateful, sarcastic.

d] It's not easy to write him being snarkily unkind but, worse, I find it hard to write characters who don't have anything specific to do. Palug doesn't have any plot so I find I don't have any impetus to write him.

e] I can't recall a specific instance but posts where he's initially obnoxious then is won over completely by the scent of tuna

f] he'll hang around and be played occasionally until i can think of something useful for him to do.

And, I have to say (on a quasi-related note)...that line from Charlie to Emma the other day, about Alec with the fairy dust and boots and hat. I lol'd. Muchly. :D

a] Charlie was designed before the game began to be an opposite to Vision. Not that I'm implying anything angelic or saintly about him. He lived in the basement [as opposed to the penthouse] and whereas Jon is Lucifer, the fallen angel, Charlie's the average well meaning human with problems, gifts and flaws but with a great resource of [non-sexual] love and caring that he extends indiscriminately to almost everyone he meets. Yeah that makes him as much of a Sue in his own way as Vision but it worked when Vision was really active and predatory. He needed problems so I gave him his backstory and his 'I think I can get away with it' attitude to some aspects of the law and his gayness to balance Visions predatory heterosexuality. All that could have made him a martyr so I made him cheerful and, where possible, comedic.

b] Charlie loves people - in the love thy neighbour sense.

c] He's a bit silly and inclined to make jokes out of place and over plays the gayness since he's not confident of pulling off masculinity.

d] Charlie's the character I can write when I'm sick as a dog, tired to the point of dozing off or the thread has taken a completely bizarre turn and any of my other characters ould be going WTF? and hiding behind my hypothalamus.

e] Those threads around April 28th 2005 when he killed Natalie Caldwell pretty much cover the full range of his personality.

f] Kel's a bit scarce at the moment but there are plans for Charlie re Nia, and the galleries plus anything else that crops up. Basically he was part of the first post at MM and I hope he'll be one of the players in the last - should I live that long :D

a] Del is the only one of my characters to come about as the result of a song. At about the time Sam and Dee were coming up the the Adam/Icene story arc, Kel asked me if I could make a honey for Eris. I felt that another one with super-powers was completely out of the question and said I'd try to think of something appropriate. Shortly after I heard The Rhythm (http://www.last.fm/music/The+Cat+Empire/_/The+Rhythm?autostart) by Cat Empire [hope that link works]and thought "ah!" I think it was the giggle that did it. So it was a case of finding someone who might have that softly husky accented voice. Half Spanish, half English brought up in Barcelona and London might do it I thought. A job was a must so I gave him one I knew I could write easily without having to do much reading up and he'd have to come from a moneyed background because museum workers are expected to do it for love. So far so good. The PB? I'd have loved to have used Felix Reibl [the singer from Cat Empire] but didn't think I'd get the icons so I just found someone pretty and Latin looking from an RP icon site.
So independently wealthy museum worker by day and party animal by night [so he can keep up with Eris AND afford it] and to compensate for him not being able to set her knickers on fire [because a] no superpowers to attract her daddy's attention and b] I truly suck at smut] I gave him his secret vice - making chocolate confectionery - more as a joke than anything else. Even the devil's daughter might get a kick out of Bruno Santos in his boxers feeding her handmade rum truffles?

b] He loves Eris enough to let her go her own way

c] Roving eye and roving hands because he feels sex isn't actually that important.

d] Del isn't that hard to write, he's just friendly with the guys and flirty with the girls. No plot though so he just drifts.

e] One of the early ones where he feeds Lara strawberries in the elevator

f] He needs something to do. I've sort of got some plot for him but it's something I'd more or less have to write alone and where's the fun in that?
