Word count for yesterday

Only just over the thousand yesterday. I just never got into it and in the end I gave up and went to bed. Had already written more than that by 8.30 this morning. I guess I just needed to get over some kind of writerly hump.

Actually, I know what it is - my inner editor is yammering again about all the things that need changing because they are so damn wrong. Inner-Ed seems to believe first drafts are for wimps. This probably explains why I never seem to finish anything.

It's going a bit better today. I've got nearly 2K so far and am doing a major plot point.
