Not really, of course. They wouldn't have been allowed to build that huge machine and turn it on if it was really going to make black holes - would they?

But just in case - *looks at watch, eleven minutes and counting* - it's been nice, guys.

Oh anf if we all survive til lunchtime there's this to listen to either in real time or on the BBC 'Listen Again' service. Trust Cap'n Jack to get in on the fun!

Just - argh!! Jen has lost her season ticket! No way of getting it renewed, I just have to buy another. Which means beans on toast for the rest of the month. Well not quite, I'm better organised food wise than that, but I wish Jen'd take care of things and understand that when I say we have NO disposable income I bloody well mean it. Am also annoyed with myself for having been stupid enough to try to get sympathetic support from someone because now I feel annoyed, upset AND unimportant.

Ah well, at least the Accelerator works. The eighteen billion they spent on that puts Jen's season ticket into perspective though it doesn't really help with replacing it.

/snivel - but DAMN i needed to grumble!

The very first episode was my favourite because I thought it was going to be a series telling some kind of linear story. After that I missed many many episodes so have no idea what the fandom's about.

And yes, we were haunted at work for about a year while we were storing skeletal material from the excavations at the church. I never saw anything, though other people did, but I used to hear our resident ghost walking around upstairs. He was a looker apparently, with long curly black hair [or a wig] and a fantastic embroidered waistcoat.

Another incident was in the wood we used to rent for a field archery course. We shot the round one day with a guest archer and on the way back he said, "Where's the dog gone?" Apparently it had followed us round, sitting quietly behind the shooting line and only moving on when we did. Big black labrador, he said, with a brown leather and brass collar. The description matched that of the dog from the pub who often followed us round the wood and had been run over and killed about 6 months previously.
